Hull Outside
We sandblasted the bottom of the hull ourselves. It was a gruelling job, but eventually it was done. Then 2 coats of zinc-chromate epoxy paint, followed by two coats of coaltar epoxy. We then put several coats of high-build epoxy on it, then red colored hard bottom paint and finally two coats of ablative blue bottom paint.
We painted the topsides with a two-part poly-urethane and we rolled-and-tipped it. The trick here is to thin it like crazy and keep thinning it as you go along.
